Congleton Town Council regularly responds to local and national consultations to make sure the voice of our community is heard in decisions that affect our town. These consultations cover a wide range of issues such as planning, transport, housing, the environment, and community services.
As your local council, we take part because we understand the needs and priorities of Congleton’s residents. Our responses help shape proposals, protect local interests, and influence decisions made by Cheshire East Council, government departments, and other organisations.
We encourage residents to get involved too. Public responses are an important part of the democratic process — helping decision-makers understand how proposals may affect people who live, work, and spend time in Congleton. The more voices that are heard, the stronger the case for our community.
You can find details of current consultations below, along with links on how to share your views.
