Congleton Town Hall is a beautiful and characterful Victorian venue at the heart of the community, proudly owned and managed by Congleton Town Council. Fully licensed for civil weddings and partnerships and featuring a well-stocked bar, it offers a versatile and welcoming setting for every occasion. Whether you’re planning a wedding, christening, celebration of life, private party, awards ceremony, meeting, exhibition, concert or sporting event, Congleton Town Hall provides a memorable backdrop and a professional service to help bring your event to life.

Your Choice of Rooms


 

The Grand Hall is large enough to hold concerts, weddings, wakes, birthdays, fundraisers, dances, fayres, exercise classes, and much more. The glorious Grand Hall will look fantastic for any celebration or corporate occasion.

The Bridestones Suite is a ‘mini’ Grand Hall on the first floor, suitable for intimate wedding ceremonies for up to 80 guests or 50 dining guests. The room is popular with corporate clients hosting meetings, training sessions and presentations.

The Spencer Suite is a small, multi-functional room on the first floor, and is often used for interviews, training sessions, board meetings or as a break-out room from the larger Bridestones Suite.

The Brassie is a small, L-shaped, multi-functional room on the ground floor. It is often used for meetings, parties, or a VIP/breakout area from the main hall, with a private bar.

All rooms can be uniquely arranged for every occasion. Please refer to the dimensional plans and layout options to help you plan your perfect layout.

Congleton Town Hall is an amazing venue for your wedding or party. We will work with you to ensure that your special day in this majestic, historic building will be the wedding or party that you want. The Town Hall is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships and is also a beautiful venue for your wedding reception.

The Team will assure you of personal attention from planning your wedding or party to the day itself as we understand that each wedding couple has different ideas and choices.

Bridestones meeting room Congleton Town Hall

Congleton Town Hall is proud to offer flexible, high-quality space for businesses of all sizes. As many organisations adapt and maximise office space, dedicated meeting rooms and boardrooms are often the first to go—leaving teams without a professional environment to meet, plan, and collaborate.

At the Town Hall, we provide a practical and inspiring solution. Our rooms are available to hire by the hour, half-day (4 hours), or full day (8 hours), giving you the flexibility to book exactly what you need. Whether it’s a quick meeting, a training session, or a full-day event, you’ll have space to focus, think clearly, and step away from everyday distractions.

  • The Spencer Suite is ideal for interviews, small meetings or training sessions for up to 10 people.
  • The Bridestones Suite offers a larger, versatile space, perfect for groups of over 10 and presentations for up to 100 attendees.
  • The Grand Hall provides an impressive setting for large-scale events, accommodating up to 220 seated guests, with an additional 100 using the balcony—ideal for conferences, staff briefings, and corporate gatherings.

Rooms are available from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, making it easy to plan around your schedule.
