A Choice of Rooms for All Occasions 

Be greeted by years of vibrant history at this affordable first-class venue in the heart of town, offering a choice of four versatile rooms available to hire seven days a week. All rooms are accessible and will be set to your requirements, benefitting from free Wi-Fi, audio visual and PA facilities, a wide stock of furniture and additional accessories. The Grand Hall, the Bridestones Suite, Spencer Suite and the Brasserie are available to hire seven days a week.

Congleton Town Council will consider providing a concessional grant for local registered charities and other voluntary/community groups organising fundraising events, where they provide a direct benefit to the Town. Concessional grants for eligible charities and groups will be a 50% reduction off the standard room hire rate.

Grand Hall

One of the biggest non-sporting venues in Congleton. It a great space to hold parties, celebrations, weddings, exhibitions, concerts, large meetings, training, fundraisers, launches and sporting events.

The room can accommodate 220 people seated theatre-style, with room for a further 100 on the balcony and sides. For Weddings, fundraisers and events involving fine dining, the room is better suited to 100 – 180 guests. Feature lighting in a wide variety of colours and fairy lights are available at an additional cost to transform the room and to meet your colour scheme.

The room features a balcony, which has fixed tier seating of 64, and a further 40 seats can be provided (20 per side), which look over into the main hall. Access is via a large stone staircase or a lift located in the bar area.

Bridestones Suite

A perfect room for large team meetings, training courses, conferences and board meetings. It has also been used for folk evenings, wedding ceremonies, smaller theatrical productions, yoga and public meetings.

The room can accommodate 100 people cinema style, 60 for a workshop or 30 around a boardroom. There is in-house catering available and the room can be available from 7am until midnight.

Spencer Suite

The Spencer Suite is a small, highly functional room on the first floor. This room is often used for interviews, training sessions, board meetings or as a break-out room from the larger Bridestones Room.

The room is ideally suited for 10 people around the board room and is equipped with an interactive electronic screen which makes it possible to hold video links with other meetings.

Brasserie

The Brasserie is a multi-functional space which can be used for a variety of purposes. Located on the ground floor, an L-shaped room can be used for meetings, celebrations, meals, etc.

Around 30 people can be seated at tables within the space, and there is a private bar. There is in-house catering available, and the room can be booked from 7 am until midnight.
