Congleton Town Council is committed to supporting a thriving local economy by promoting the town, encouraging investment, enhancing the town centre and creating opportunities for businesses to grow and prosper.
Working alongside local organisations, business networks and Cheshire East Council, we help connect businesses with advice, funding opportunities and support services. We also organise and promote events, initiatives and marketing campaigns that increase footfall, showcase local enterprises and encourage residents and visitors to shop local.

At Congleton Town Council, our overarching aspiration is “to improve the quality of life for present and future generations in Congleton.” Achieving this requires listening to and engaging with our residents, promoting equality and inclusion, and placing sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
To guide us toward this vision, we have developed eight strategic priorities, each with a set of actions designed to make a real difference in our town. Our councillors and officers are committed to taking on this challenge and delivering the initiatives outlined in our Corporate Strategic Plan.
