Cheshire East Net Zero Conference

Congleton Town Council attended this conference in 2023. It included many insightful presentations from experts and businesses of all sizes. You can watch many of the presentations online.

The conference, organised by Reaseheath College in partnership with Cheshire East Council, focused on how organisations on a local level across the borough can work together to lower their carbon emissions, drive sustainability and achieve a greener future.

This has a lot of advice and resources for businesses.  You can make your own Climate pledge there and get sector-specific advice on the steps you can take to reduce emissions.

Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)


 

This is the global professional body for individuals and organisations working, studying or interested in the environment and sustainability. It provides training courses and a host of other resources to its members, and there are various membership levels, but you have to pay to join.

A federation of charities mobilising practical community action on poverty and the environment across the UK, offers a number of opportunities for businesses to sponsor carbon-capture and other environmental and well-being projects.
