1. Apologies for Absence
Members are reminded of the necessity to give apologies in advance of the meeting and to give reasons for absence.

To approve and sign the minutes of the Community Committee held on 27th November 2025 as a correct record.

To receive and consider a verbal report from Cheshire Police on Policing matters affecting Congleton.

To update progress on actions from items discussed at the previous Community meeting.
8. White Ribbon Campaign 2025 (Enclosed)
To receive a campaign report on white ribbon activities during white ribbon day and 16 Days of Activism. Followed by a short update from the chair.
9. Community Safety Working Group (Enclosed)
To receive the minutes of the Community Safety Working Group meeting held on the 15th January 2026 and receive a short update from the Chair.
10. Communications Update (Enclosed)
To receive and note a report from the Town Council’s Communications and Marketing Officer, Debbie Coxon, highlighting the Town Council’s Communications activities from 21st November 2025 to 22nd January 2026.
11. Youth Council Update (Verbal Update)
To receive a verbal update from the newly appointed chair of the Youth Council.
12. Christmas Lights Switch-on Report 2025 and Plans for 2026 event (Enclosed)
To note a report from Events Manager Rachel McCarthy on the Christmas Lights Switch-on event and the planned changes for the 2026 event.

13.1. No Tier Snooker Society June Showcase Event (Enclosed)
To receive a report on the No Tier Snooker event taking place in Congleton Town Hall to raise awareness of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and early-onset dementia.
14. Speed Indication Device (Enclosed)
To consider a request to purchase a second Speed Indication Device to monitor traffic speed on Macclesfield Road.
