Congleton Town Mayor, Cllr Robert Brittain, said: “The Green Fayre is about community and sustainability – small steps, taken together, that make a real difference. We look forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be an inspiring day of fun and education, together, as a community we can make a real difference.
Road closures will be in operation to ensure the event runs smoothly. High Street and Moody Street will be closed from 7am–6pm (no access from Market Street). Market Street will remain open for access to Morrisons and the Fairground Car Park, and bus and taxi ranks will operate as usual, exiting via Mountbatten Way.
