Biddulph Grange Country Park, Grange Road, Biddulph ST8 7TZ

Nestled within 73 acres of scenic countryside, Biddulph Grange Country Park was once part of the historic Biddulph Grange Estate. Today, the site offers a rich tapestry of meadows, tranquil woodlands, a picturesque lake, and a series of serene ponds – all shaped by Victorian landscaping ideals.

Designed to reflect the classic 19th-century passion for dramatic views and harmony with nature, the park invites visitors to explore a landscape carefully crafted by its original Victorian and early 20th-century designers.

At the heart of the park lies the main pool, a standout feature framed by a beautifully restored stone boathouse dating back to 1904.

In a nod to its heritage, the original hydroelectric system – first installed over a century ago—was brought back into service in 2000. It now generates clean, renewable power for the park’s facilities.
